I owe a debt of thanks to Jacques Braakenburg for introducing me to Nune Ville and to it's charming owner Jacqueline, who turned the visit I made with my group - on the first day of its opening to the public - into a wonderful, unforgettable experience. I loved the selection of period furniture and contemporary drawings and paintings on the walls of the room that perfectly evoke the era when Margot and Vincent would meet there. Enlightening too was a visit to the simple servants' quarters in the attic. It was the promised 'Golden Opportunity'. I shall certainly recommend a visit to my all my friends and return myself the next time I return to Nuenen.
