You receive the regular guided tour inside the house with additional highlights depending on the specific package deal described here below. 

Package Deal Biedermeier

During the tour, you will learn, amongst others, about silverware, 19th century porselain, furniture styles and other antiquities. Everything stems from the period between 1850 and 1950. You take a walk through 100 years of interior design history. Special attention is given to the late Biedermeier period, the time in which Vincent and Margot lived. After, we have a cup of tea or coffee from 19th century tableware. 

Duration: 1.5 – 2 hours. Entrance fee: 15 euros per person, with a minimum of 4 persons, the maximum of 8 persons. Please contact for consultation.

Package Deal Margot

In this tour there is special attention for Margot Begemann, the big love of Vincent. She lived in this house and possessed 5 of his paintings. Furthermore, other, and mostly, unhappy love stories of Vincent’s will be covered. There is much attention for objects from Margot’s time, such as sewing tables, knitting chairs, tableware and cutlery. After, we drink a cup of coffee or tea from 19th century tableware.

Package Deal Vincent

During this tour, there will be special attention for the artwork of Vincent van Gogh, his students in Nuenen and his Hague School friends. There is a large collection of these works on view in the salon. Next, you will hear about the history of picture frames, of which you will see many nice examples. Furthermore, every month an extra “guest” painting on view (loaned from art collectors). After, we have a cup of coffee or tea, and you will hear more about Vincent’s eating and drinking habits.
